Utilizing Facebook Admin Roles
One thing that I have been waiting for, for a long time now has been adding different roles for admins for Facebook’s business pages.
Businesses with Facebook Pages can now set five different roles for their admins: Manager, Content Creator, Moderator, Advertiser and Insights Analyst. This is a great option for businesses that use an outsource manager, and internal staff to post and modify their Facebook business pages.
I really recommend every business start using this option within Facebook. Why?
Businesses are starting to put a lot of content, videos, pictures, and website-like content on their Facebook pages. When a business has 1, 2, 3,4 or more people dedicated as admins, typically it is nice to limit the amount or type of content certain admins have access to.
In my opinion, I would make your Facebook manager with Full Access, and the other employees with limited access like a Content Creator or Moderator. This way, when…. and I mean WHEN the employee leaves the company, they do not have access to change the Facebook page in any manner.
